Virtual & In-Person Options

While we offer both in-person and virtual AT assessments, we specialize in virtual assessments as an effective, flexible, and efficient alternative to traditional evaluations. Virtual assessments allow us to observe students in their everyday learning environments, provide timely support, and collaborate with teams without delays or travel limitations.

I'm so glad you're here. At Child Champions, our mission is to support schools, educators, and families in making education more accessible, inclusive, and effective for all students using technology. I am passionate about assistive technology because I believe it plays a transformative role in improving access to education for students with special needs. Technology isn’t just a tool; it’s a bridge to learning, independence, and equity. As classrooms continue to evolve, integrating technology isn’t optional—it’s essential.

I believe that when students and educators are equipped with the right technology tools and support, they can create learning environments that are more inclusive, engaging, and future-ready. Whether it’s through individualized support or system-wide solutions, I’m committed to helping schools harness the power of assistive technology to unlock every student’s potential.

Why I Started Child Champions

I founded Child Champions because I saw a growing need for assessments, services, training, resources, and hands-on support in assistive technology. Too often, schools are are faced with supporting students with unique learning needs without the resources to find what they need and implement it with fidelity. Through Child Champions, we help bridge that gap—providing expert guidance that empowers educators and teams to use technology with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

Professional Background

With 14 years of experience in special education, I bring a deep understanding of diverse learner needs, a commitment to accessibility, and a strong foundation in developing and implementing individualized supports through assistive and educational technology.

My experience is twofold: I not only support students through individualized assistive technology assessments and services, but I also use my extensive background in special education and professional development to help train and empower other assistive technology specialists, educators, and parents. As a credentialed teacher myself, I understand firsthand the demands of classroom and I work collaboratively with school teams to find solutions that take into consideration the needs of the student and the learning enviornment.
