Recognizing that teachers often face the challenge of limited time, Child Champions offers easy-to-use, practical materials designed for immediate implementation. These resources help educators enhance their teaching methods without adding to their workload, making it simpler to bring innovative technology tools into everyday lessons and improve student engagement and learning outcomes.

Why I Started Child Champions

Starting Child Champions was born out of my experience as a teacher facing the daily challenges of preparing students to be confident 21st-century learners with limited time and resources. I saw firsthand how rapidly technology was advancing and how overwhelming it could be to integrate it thoughtfully and effectively into the classroom. Rather than feeling defeated by these obstacles, I was motivated to create a supportive space where educators could find practical tools and guidance to harness technology’s full potential. Child Champions is a commitment to empowering both teachers and students to embrace learning in a way that’s accessible, meaningful, and future-ready.

Professional Background

With 14 years of experience in special education, I bring a deep understanding of diverse learner needs, a commitment to accessibility, and a strong foundation in developing and implementing individualized supports through assistive and educational technology.

I have taught virtually in an online learning enviornment for my entire career and I have an extensive background in special education and professional development in helping to train and empower other educators, parents, and administrators. As a credentialed teacher myself, I understand firsthand the demands of classroom and I work collaboratively with school teams to find solutions that take into consideration the needs of the student and the learning enviornment.

Recognized for my clarity, innovation, and practical expertise, I am a trusted leader in the field of educational technology.
